It's been about 15+ years since I've eaten at this establishment. It was formerly located on the frontage of US59; a change in the on-off ramp affected this business. Decided to get off US59 and drive the less than 3 miles to the "New" location. It's definitely smaller than the original. The staff was attentive, pleasant and took our order quickly. It's order at the counter and it's delivered to your table service. I had the ($13.45) 2-meat plate with 2-sides. I saw on a different Yelp review that their onion rings were GOOD! I ordered them and they ARE! You don't get a bunch for $3.60? , but they were very tasty and I was glad I ordered them. The building itself will remind you of an old Texas restaurant. Clean tables with advertising on them and the staff is quick to clear off the tables. With major road construction going on, if you're heading US59 South, you'll need to take a detour to get back on to that highway. Other than some uneasy feeling (repeated gas/belching) from either the sausage OR the onion rings (gulp). I enjoyed the meal. ;)
